Instructor Programs
The Level 1 Course is an introduction to ski teaching, CSIA technique and methodolgy, and the role of ski teaching within the ski industry. It combines the basics of practical ski teaching methods, technical understanding and development of guest service skills, specifically addressing children’s skiing.
Candidates will receive coaching on their skiing, teaching and people skills with the goal of reaching the Level 1 standard. They will also receive suggestions and strategies for long-term development. The successful candidate is certified to teach skiers up to intermediate parallel skill level. Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2.

Course Fee: $388.00 per person (lift tickets are not included, but are half price for participants)

The Level 2 Certified Ski Instructor Course is directed at full and part-time ski instructors. This course includes the following:
- Techniques and strategies for effective communication, group dynamics, lesson planning and alternate teaching methods.
- Training in a selection of skills for the development of parallel skiing.
- Developing strategies for effective analysis and skill development.
- Online workshops on guest service and teaching children.
Prerequisites: CSIA Level 1 or CSCF Entry Level Mentor Program

Course Fee: $546.90 plus tax. Lift tickets are not included, but are half price for participants.
