Benoit Lafon

Benoit started skiing at 2 years old and ski raced until he was 14.

He began his snowboard career in 1985 and took part in the 1st French & 1st European Championship in the history of the sport in 1986. Other notable career achievements include repeat accolades as Pyrenean Champion, placing first in the Spanish Cup, and his participation in the American Pro Tour in 1994.

From Alpine Racing to Half Pipe, Big Air to Snow Cross, Moguls to Quarter Pipe, Derby, and Banked Slalom, Benoit has participated and excelled in a diverse range of snowboard events.

He was a member of the Quiksilver International team for 6 years. Benoit retired from competition in 2002, and began a focus on Freeride & Backcountry (in his own words: pow pow pow!).

Benoit manages R Gear as well as the RMR Rental and Repair departments.

Cauterets (Pyrenees) in the past. Revelstoke for 3 years.

No more competitions since 2002. Heli trip in AK, Backcountry & Freeride in Europe & Canada.

Incredible Terrain. Snow Conditions. Great Community. Fantastic spot to raise a family. Outdoor activities options.

Godsend

Impossible to choose. Discovered pillows in Revy. Love both.
