Additional Terrain Open This Weekend
December 07 2011
With over 330cm of snowfall to date and a base of 125cm at the top of the mountain, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is excited to announce the opening of additional terrain for this weekend. Starting on Saturday, December 10, the ski area boundary will include the terrain between the base of the Stoke Chair and the Mid-Mountain Lodge. In addition, the ski area boundary on the upper mountain has also assumed its regular location for the season, encompassing both the Sub-Peak and Greely Bowl.
The Grooming Team at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is in full swing thanks to the Resort's abundant snowfall. We have also increased our grooming capacity with the addition of another winch Cat to our grooming fleet. Our classic groomers will be in prime condition for the weekend, including some of our locals' favourites such as Snow Rodeo, Wooley Bully and Feller Buncher.
If you are looking to get your little one out on the slopes or work on mastering your beginner turns, the Lil' Bit Magic Carpet is in operation on a daily basis from 8:30am until 3:30 pm. Dining options for the weekend include Rockford Wok|Bar|Grill, Wino: The Wine Bar, the Mid-Mountain Lodge, and the Mackenzie Outpost.
Soar thousands of feet above the valley, explore on snowshoes, or dash through the snow in a dogsled.
