Epic Conditions at RMR!
January 16 2012
An incredible snow storm has targeted Revelstoke Mountain Resort bringing a whopping 40cm of snowfall in less than 36hrs.
Environment Canada is currently forecasting more snowfall for Revelstoke Mountain Resort for 5 of the next 7 days which is sure to make snow conditions that much more incredible! Nearing a 200cm base and 550cm of snowfall to date, Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers deep, natural snow conditions that rival any ski resort in North America!
The storm is a welcomed addition to snowmaking efforts that commenced earlier this week at the base for the new Turtle Creek Beginner Area and Tube Park. With heavy snowfall accumulating right down to the village base, the Tube Park is now open from 2-8 pm daily.
Check out the time lapse of Gnorm the Powder Gnome getting submerged by the fresh powder, and take advantage of our 4-pack lift ticket deal by purchasing online - ski for just $59 per day, on sale until February 15th.
A lucky few now have the chance to ascend to the top of the Stoke early to get First Tracks at Revelstoke Mountain Resort!
Enjoy a coffee and muffin at La Baguette (7:15am) and then load the Revelation Gondola (7:45am), a full 45 minutes before anyone else, on your way to being the first to ski untracked powder and perfectly manicured, untouched groomers.
