Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing was the company of choice for guests who wanted the ultimate heli ski vacation, with over 50 feet of annual snow, 200,000 hectares (500,000 acres) of exclusive terrain and a long family history of guiding excellence.
Now, in addition to Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, there is another way to ski or snowboard Revelstoke's epic terrain - at Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR).
Heading into our fifth season of operations, RMR boasts North America's highest lift-serviced vertical at 1,713 metres (5,620 ft), 3,121 acres of fall line skiing, high alpine bowls, 15 areas of gladed terrain and phenomenal groomed terrain. Revelstoke Mountain Resort is also the only resort world-wide to offer lift, cat, heli and backcountry skiing from one village base. Across our group of companies, that include RMR, Revelstoke Cat Skiing and Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, skiers and snowboarders have access to a total of 515,000 acres of terrain.
Upon completion, the Resort will offer more than 20 lifts and over 100 ski and snowboard runs, transforming the area into a world-class destination. The four-season resort will include over 5,000 new housing units (1,500 resort condominiums, 2,000 hotel suites, 850 townhomes and 550 single-family lots), as well as more than 500,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, plus a resort-style golf course.
Lift Skiing
Revelstoke Mountain Resort features 1,263 hectares (3,121 acres) of lift-accessed terrain with a descent of 1,713 vertical meters (5,620 feet) - the highest in North America. The Resort has two high-speed quad chairs, an eight-passenger gondola and a dedicated beginner slope with Magic Carpet conveyor lift. New amenities at the base of the mountain include a multi-grade beginner slope and Turtle Creek Tube Park serviced by a new Magic Carpet Lift, the Rockford Wok | Bar | Grill full service restaurant, Wino: The Wine Bar après ski venue, retail and rental shops, and lift ticket and skier services. The lift-accessed Mid-Mountain Lodge featuring stunning views, a self-serve restaurant, espresso bar, and a deck with a barbeque.
Cat Skiing
Experience breathtaking views of the Monashee Mountains and the Columbia River from the South, Montana, and Kokanee Bowls. Enjoy fabulous alpine bowls, naturally gladed slopes and our renowned light, dry powder snow. Snow conditions and the group's ability will dictate the terrain that is accessed each day. Full-day packages include unlimited vertical, equipment rentals, on-slope lunch, and après ski appetizers.

The Sutton Place Hotel
The Sutton Place Hotel opened in March, 2009 at the base area of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Designed by the foremost resort architectural firm in North America, Raymond Letkeman and Associates created the hotel in a contemporary mountain alpine architectural style where every suite offers outstanding views across the Columbia Mountains to the Monashee Mountains. Crafted with natural materials that meld into the landscape, the hotel blends inviting natural materials such as leather, granite and rich wood stains offset by stainless steel appliances and brushed nickel fixtures and hardware.
