The 2008-2009 season will open up with 1,713 vertical metres (5,620 feet) of lift-serviced terrain - the longest in North America; over double the terrain of last season with 1,227 hectares (3,031 acres); two high-speed quad chairs, an eight-passenger gondola and a dedicated beginner slope with Magic Carpet conveyor lift; a new resort village with full-service restaurant, retail and rental shops, and lift ticket and skier services; and a mid-mountain lodge featuring stunning views, a full-service restaurant with espresso bar, deck with barbeque and retail shop.
