It’s shaping up to be another mild day on the upper mountain, with cooler temperatures lingering down in the valley. Soft snow awaits in the back bowls, while the groomers off the Stoke Chair are in great shape for smooth, confident turns. Below the Day Lodge, expect more variable conditions as snowmaking continues. Have a great day on the mountain.
Backcountry Conditions: Outside the ski area boundary watch for signs of instability with the warm weather causing rapid settlement in the snowpack. Reports of human triggered wind and storm slabs continue at higher elevations. Cornices are very large this year so remember to give ridgelines a wide berth.
