Best of Winter Photos

This winter was one for the books.
With over 12 metres of total snowfall, 2016/17 turned out to be the second highest snow year on record since the resort opened in 2007. According to our historical annual snowfall tracker, we were just 3 centimeters shy of the record year in 2010 which had 1231 cms on the board.
The season got off to a strong start with epic December storms that kept Gnorm covered in the fluffy stuff until the first few days of the New Year. By mid-January, La Nina moved in and took our breath away with colder than average temps and high pressure systems – perfect for capturing stunning views in the alpine. February was a month of smaller but consistent storms, and just as we thought the season was about to wind down, #MarchMadness ensued!
We’re already getting stoked for next season…but first lets revel in a couple of our favourite shots from this season.
