Step out onto the Skywalk and take in Revelstoke from above, an experience the whole family will remember.
The Details
Nestled on Mount Mackenzie’s mid-west flank within Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s Controlled Recreation Area, the cliff walk hiking trail offers an unforgettable journey through nature with breathtaking views. Starting at the Revelation Gondola Top Station at approximately 1,650 metres (5,400 feet), the adventure follows the existing Revelstoke View Deck trail. Meandering through a sample of the world's only inland temparate rainforest, the trail emerges atop a cliff bluff with panoramic vistas of downtown Revelstoke and the stunning Columbia Valley.
The Suspension Bridge
Spanning 75.5 metres, the Revelstoke Skywalk suspension bridge links two rocky points high above the valley, with sweeping views of the Monashee Mountains, the Columbia River, and the town of Revelstoke. Far below, the Columbia winds through the valley 1,250 metres (4,101 feet) below, framed by peaks in every direction.
The Viewing Deck
Take your time on the cantilevered viewing platform, a 60m² steel structure sitting at 1,690 meters (5,545 feet) above sea level. Anchored directly into the mountainside, it provides clear, expansive views of the town of Revelstoke and the surrounding mountains.
