At Critical Parts, our expert bootfitters provide full-service bootfitting for skiers and snowboarders, including custom Sidas footbeds, heat molding, shell punching, and grinding to achieve the perfect fit. With convenient ski-in, ski-out access, you can even pop in during your ski day, and we'll do our best to get you back on the slopes in comfort.
Bootfitting Services
1. Foot Assessment
We start by taking a close look at your feet — measuring length, width, instep, and arch height — and how your legs align with your stance. This helps us find the right boots and socks for comfort, warmth, and all-day performance on the mountain.
2. Shell Customization
Your boots should fit like a glove. Using our custom shell oven, we can heat, punch, or grind the shell to ease pressure points and create more space where you need it — all without affecting performance.
3. Custom Insoles
Next, we craft insoles that match your unique foot shape. Our Sidas insoles are shaped and fine-tuned for extra support, keeping you comfortable and balanced from first chair to last run.
4. Alignment & Stance
The final step is perfecting your stance. Small tweaks to your boot alignment help your skis respond better and make every turn feel smoother. With a few adjustments, we’ll have you skiing in comfort and control.
