Revelstoke Mountain Resort Unveils the Revelstoke Skywalk as a New Must-See Mountain Experience
The signature attraction offers breathtaking views of the Columbia Valley while enhancing the resort's year-round tourism offerings.
After welcoming guests for its inaugural season in 2025, Revelstoke Mountain Resort has officially marked the Grand Opening of the Revelstoke Skywalk, a signature attraction that strengthens the resort's growing collection of summer experiences and commitment to year-round adventure.
The Revelstoke Skywalk centres around a 75.5-metre suspension bridge connecting two rocky outcrops 1,250 metres above the Columbia Valley. The attraction provides sweeping views of Mount Begbie and the Monashee Mountains, the Columbia River and the City of Revelstoke, offering visitors a unique perspective of one of British Columbia's most spectacular mountain landscapes throughout the summer months.
Says Jason Kelder, President of Revelstoke Mountain Resort, "We're always looking for new ways to help guests connect with the mountains beyond the winter season. The Skywalk is part of our ongoing commitment to building unforgettable experiences year-round, giving visitors another reason to get up into the mountains and experience Revelstoke beyond the ski season."
The Skywalk experience begins at the Revelation Gondola Top Station, where guests follow a scenic cliff walk trail through a section of inland temperate rainforest before arriving at the suspension bridge. Visitors can then continue to a cantilevered viewing platform anchored directly into the mountainside, providing expansive views of the town of Revelstoke and the surrounding mountains.
The Revelstoke Skywalk is part of a growing collection of summer experiences available through Revelstoke Mountain Resort's Adventure Pass, including sightseeing and hiking, mountain biking, the Aerial Adventure Park and The Pipe Mountain Coaster. Guests can also experience the Skywalk through the resort's Explore Pass, which includes access to both gondolas, the Skywalk, and endless opportunities for hiking and sightseeing.
Members of the public are invited to experience the Revelstoke Skywalk during a public Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, June 20.
