Getting to Revelstoke From Kelowna

From Seattle, flights arrive twice daily at Kelowna's International Airport. Leaving the Pacific Northwest behind, you'll land in the Okanagan Valley: British Columbia's top-producing wine region. With over 40 wineries, 1,000 vineyards, and 80 grape varietals, the Okanagan is Canada's Sonoma Valley. Sunny and hot with warm lakes, fragrant sage-covered fields, and vineyards spanning the hillsides, the valley is a hub for food, drink and summer festivals.

Minutes from Mount Revelstoke National Park and a half hour drive Glacier National Park - access to Canada's natural gems doesn't get any better than this.

Glacier National Park has excellent options for hiking with panoramic views on every trail. Founded in 1886, Glacier National Park is a year round mountain park paradise. It’s a hiker’s dream in summer and a ski touring mecca in the winter, with snow-capped peaks as far as the eye can see all year long.

Mount Revelstoke National Park boasts the Meadows in the Sky Parkway; you can drive into the alpine from the river valley. There are a number of excellent trails for any ability. This is the only mountain in the national park system that you can summit just a short walk from your car!

The town of Revelstoke is nestled in a sunny four-season valley along the Columbia River flanked by three towering mountains: Mount Revelstoke, Mount Begbie & Mount Mackenzie. The surrounding topology has the largest elevation change out of any major resort in North America and offers stunning mountain views in every direction.

Arriving by Air

Revelstoke's airport is located at the foot of Revelstoke Mountain Resort, only 4 minutes to the mountain village and 8 mins to the downtown core. The small airstrip accommodates arrivals via helicopter or private jet under 10 passengers.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a profitable mountain operation that opened in 2008. Known as one of the best ski resorts in Canada, the resort boasts the most vertical in North America at 5,620 feet (1,713 metres), above-average snow at ~35 feet annually (~10.5 metres), incredible views, and perfectly spaced glades. Although best known for its expert terrain, there are plenty of areas for learning and progression throughout the resort.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges, giant old-growth forests, and mighty rivers, Cabot Pacifıc will bring all of the dramatic vistas you’ve come to expect from Cabot, with a design that not only incorporates but heightens the natural beauty that surrounds it.

Designed by Rod Whitman, the course will take advantage of the diverse landscape and rolling natural topography. Set on a bench of land at the base of Mount MacKenzie, perched high above the river valley, the course will be routed overlooking the Columbia River.
