                Slips, Trips & Fall Hazards
Revelstoke Mountain Resort spans vast, natural terrain, much of which is natural, uneven, and ungroomed. All year long, but especially during the fall, winter, and spring seasons, large areas of our facilities—including parking lots, sidewalks, pathways, and stairs, and other areas—can be covered with ice and snow, creating very slippery conditions.
Footwear matters
Appropriate footwear is essential for reducing the risk of slips, trips, and falls. When visiting the resort, please choose footwear suited to an outdoor recreation environment and the prevailing weather conditions. Ski boots, bike cleats, and other specialty footwear often have poor traction, so extra caution is advised when walking in these areas.
