Anjali-Allie Bruni
Anjali-Allie Bruni, is a E-RYT750-YACEP Hatha/Classical Ashtanga (eight-limbed path) instructor, LOLË ambassador, and electronic DJ. She has been practicing yoga since the late 70s. She teaches internationally to thousands of students in teacher trainings, workshops, classes, and events. Anjali’s instruction is inspired by the authentic and traditional yoga teachings of Hatha yoga as taught by the Mount Madonna Center, Mount Madonna Institute, and Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. Anjali weaves devotional intention, healthy alignment principles, Āyurveda, and subtle body awareness into pranayama, meditation, and asana. All offerings embrace the theory of “Teach To Learn,” and she continues to study and deepen her understanding of yoga theory and philosophy with emphasis on the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Sanskrit, and Sacred Sound. Anjali has completed the core training for Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy and is currently completing her Kundalini, Ayurveda Yoga Therapist, and Ayurveda Health Counselor certificates.
Lisa Cyr
Lisa is a passionate yoga teacher who discovered the transformative power of yoga in 2004 while rehabilitating a spinal injury and rebuilding core strength. Beyond the physical aspect of asana, she was captivated by breathwork, sound, mantra, and meditation. As her practice deepened over the years, it became ever clearer that yoga offers profound connections with oneself, others, and the world around, serving as a gateway for exploration, self-discovery, playfulness, and personal growth.
Since 2011, Lisa has been sharing her love for yoga as a teacher. On the mat, she infuses classes with adventure, curiosity, and a seamless integration of invigorating asana, breathwork, sound, and self-exploration.
Originally from Calgary, Lisa has spent many years living and traveling in various countries across the globe, immersing herself in different cultures. Currently residing in Revelstoke with her daughter, she teaches regularly at Balu Yoga. Lisa's training includes 200-hour programs with Gayatri Yoga and Meghan Currie; and has completed 300-hour programs with Gayatri Yoga and Danielle Pechie (Critical Alignment and Yoga Therapy). She has also taught at various festivals, including Blessed Coast and the Kootenay Wellness Festival, as well as numerous workshops and immersions.
