Breaking Trail August 2025
It’s been a busy summer at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, with projects moving full steam ahead across the mountain. From new attractions and amenities to community growth and major resort developments, here’s the latest on what’s taking shape and what’s opening soon.
Revelstoke Highline
The Revelstoke Highline is officially open! This exciting new addition features a cantilevered viewing deck and suspension bridge at the top of Revelation Gondola, which our crew has been working hard on this summer. We’re thrilled to welcome guests to this elevated adventure, free for Revelstoke locals, from August 30th until the end of the season.
Multi-Use Pathway
The Multi-Use Pathway is nearly complete, with final shouldering and hydro-seeding done last week. Paving and line painting was completed on July 30th. The lights are up and ready for BC Hydro to energize, with an expected opening beginning of September.
Staff Housing
The first staff housing building is on track and ready for occupancy this fall. Final touches are underway in washrooms and kitchens, and final grading is being completed in the parking lot and access road.
The Karl
Progress continues at The Karl with window installation and interior framing on the lower levels and The Chop restaurant. We’re on track for winter 2026-2027 occupancy, when Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing will move operations into the new hotel.
Cabot Revelstoke
Seeding is underway, with plans to have seven holes planted by fall. Recent milestones include completing the first tees near the parking lot, ongoing culvert installation on holes 12 and 13, and the addition of several bridges. Ten holes are now fully irrigated, with shaping underway on eight more.
Benchlands
Roadwork and utilities are nearly complete, with paving scheduled for September. Foundations for the first two four-plex townhomes are being formed and poured, and vertical framing will begin by the end of the month. Estate lots and condo units will be released to the market this fall, and the first townhome residents are expected to move in by late 2026.
Mountain Road Estates
The access road has been cleared and stripped, and utility installation will take place over the next month. Estate lots will soon join the duplex inventory, and pre-sales remain strong. We’re looking forward to welcoming our first residents in late 2026.
Raven Townhomes
Landscaping and finishing touches have been completed at Raven Townhomes. This growing community still has a few units available for those looking to join a beautiful mountain neighbourhood close to the downtown area.
