Breaking Trail: Fall Update
As the seasons shift in Revelstoke, projects continue to move steadily across the resort. From construction milestones and fresh landscaping to the first snow dusting the peaks, it’s been a season of visible progress and anticipation. Here’s a look at what’s been happening around the mountain as we head toward winter.
Staff Housing
The Summit Lodge has officially welcomed its first tenants! This marks the completion of Phase 1 of our three-phase staff housing initiative, which will provide a total of 480 bed units for our team. It’s a major milestone in supporting on-mountain living and enhancing the employee experience at the resort.
Cabot Revelstoke
Over at Cabot Revelstoke, the fairways are coming to life and the course is looking spectacular as the grass continues to grow. Excitement is building as the landscape begins to take shape ahead of next season.
Benchlands Townhomes
Construction is well underway on the first townhomes in the Benchlands neighbourhood. The road is paved, foundations for the first two buildings are complete, and walls will be going up soon – a major step toward bringing this new residential area to life.
Mountain Road Estates
At Mountain Road Estates, the road has been completed to subgrade, and foundations are being formed for the first two buildings.
Discovery Centre
The Discovery Centre at 122 Mackenzie Ave is now open. Visitors can stop in to learn more about ongoing development across the mountain, explore future plans, and speak with our team about real estate opportunities at the resort. It’s a welcoming place to get informed, ask questions, and see what’s taking shape at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Entrance Landscaping
The resort entrance is transforming with new trees and shrubs now planted and grass taking root along the back of the dunes. Broader landscaping efforts continue across the resort to enhance the arrival experience and overall sense of place.
The Karl
Progress continues at pace on The Karl. The roof sheeting is now 80% complete, with windows installed on the east and south elevations and 95% complete on the west. The amenities building is fully enclosed, and waterproofing is underway on its west side. Inside, an interior mock-up of one of the guest rooms has been completed, giving us a first look at the hotel’s design direction and envisioned guest experience.
Multi-use pathway
The multi-use pathway is now complete, with lighting fully installed and energized, ready for use. This new connection, which will be maintained and plowed throughout the winter, will make commutes to and from the resort safer, easier, and more accessible.
Trail Maintenance
Our mountain operations team has wrapped up summer trail maintenance and ski run prep for the season. With snow already beginning to fall at higher elevations, our trails are turning white, signaling that winter is just around the corner.
