What To Expect On Opening Day 2025
Opening Day is set for Saturday, December 6, and conditions are looking great! With fresh snowfall this week and more in the forecast, we’re ready to spin the lifts and kick off the season. Our team has been hard at work preparing the mountain, and we’re excited to share the first tracks of winter with you this weekend.
Take a moment to read up on what to expect for Opening Day below.
Conditions Report
Terrain
After this week's snowfall we are ready to welcome you back for the winter. With all alpine chairlifts set to spin, a base depth of 92cm (and counting), and a large portion of our terrain forecasted to open, plenty of fresh tracks will be yours for the taking on Saturday morning. Despite the recent snowfall, we want to remind skiers and riders that early-season conditions are still in play. Unmarked hazards remain close to the surface, particularly as you descend in elevation and venture off piste. A new season also means that terrain may have changed. Take your time and choose your line appropriately and remember; this is only day one!
- Open: Cupcake Carpet, Stellar Chair, Ripper Chair, Stoke Chair
- Terrain below the Stoke base will remain closed.
- Mandatory download at Revelation Gondolas
- Groomed terrain: Each operating lift (excluding the gondola) will have at least one groomed route available from the top to the bottom.
- Terrain Park: closed
- Sub Peak and Lemming Line opening: TBD
- Early-season conditions persist: off-piste glade skiing is not recommended, unmarked hazards will be present.
- Check grooming report for up-to date information
*Downloading will be mandatory from the top of the Revelation Gondola until otherwise stated.
Parking
We’re expecting a busy start to the season. Whenever you can, please consider carpooling. The main lot will remain designated for high-occupancy vehicles (2+ guests per car).
Reminder to all guests: overnight camping is not permitted at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Resort Shuttle
Please consider carpooling or using alternative transportation to ease congestion on opening day. We recommend utilizing the Revelstoke Resort Shuttle. It’s $2 a trip or a season pass can be purchased online. To view the schedule and routes visit the Revelstoke Transfer website.
