You will be required to ski in control on various types of backcountry terrain and snow conditions including treed slopes. You should have experience at downhill resorts and have spent some time skiing off the groomed trails. With your skis on, you should be able to make confident parallel turns and be able to side slip, step up sideways, traverse, and make kick turns on terrain that can be difficult and steep.

It is important to have good cardiovascular fitness in order to enjoy the demands of playing in our snow. We recommend that you engage in some kind of exercise program for eight to ten weeks prior to your ski trip. The fitter you are, the better you will be able to overcome any skiing challenges and avoid injuries.

• All requests for cancellations or changes to bookings must be submitted at least 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the program’s start date.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the program start date will incur a $420 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations or changes made 14 days or more before the program start date are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
• Any Cancellations made by RMR or Selkirk are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.

We take the safety of our guests and staff seriously. Although we continuously strive to minimize the challenges inherent to backcountry cat skiing, there are many risks associated with wilderness skiing. Guests will be asked to sign a release form, "Assumption of Risk and Waiver" prior to going skiing, which acknowledges that they are aware of these risks, dangers, and hazards. Our goal is to provide you with the best bakcountry skiing experience possible. However, sometimes the weather and/or snow conditions do not cooperate and we are unable to operate cat skiing on your scheduled date. If we are unable to operate, we will offer a full refund or the option to rebook (based on availability).

Please review the following terms and conditions of our cancellation policy.

• All rates must be in Canadian funds.
• Payment in full is required at the time of booking.
• You will not be permitted to participate in any backcoutry skiing trip unless a "Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement" is properly signed and witnessed.
• For your own protection, we strongly recommend that you arrange trip cancellation insurance with your insurance provider prior to traveling to Revelstoke. Medical
  insurance that also covers helicopter evacuation is advised.
• RMR and Selkirk Tangiers require all participants to be 15 years of age or older. Participants who are 18 years old or younger must have a parent or guardian to co-sign their waiver as well as ski with them at all times.
• It is your responsibility to arrive at the required time and location to commence any trip. It is also your responsibility to ensure proper entry through Canadian Customs and Immigration if entering from outside Canada.
• RMR and Selkirk Tangiers reserve the right to cancel any ski package at any time due to mechanical failure, guest and staff safety and weather and snow conditions. Full refunds will be given in the case that no alternative date suits the guests, but under no circumstances will RMR or Selkirk Tangiers be responsible for the guests' inconvenience or travel expenses.
• If your vacation is interrupted for any reason, including injury, this is treated as a cancellation.
