Internship Programs
Revelstoke Mountain Resort is proud to partner with Educating Adventures and Snowminds to offer Instructor Internship Programs in Revelstoke.
Educating Adventures
In conjunction with Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the Educating Adventures (EA) Ski and Snowboard program offers an early season training and certification camp followed by an instructor position. This rare opportunity to become an instructor with Revelstoke Mountain Resort's Mountain Sports School before Christmas is by application only. There are limited positions available each season.
Package options include everything you need to become an instructor and enjoy the ultimate winter including accommodation, training, industry membership, materials, Level 1 exam, on-ground support (including airport pick-up and city orientation), social events, continued training towards Level 2, first aid, avalanche skills training and backcountry opportunities, as well as professional development opportunities. This program begins in late November and runs through the end of the winter season.
Owen Davies - Intern Grad“I was looking for a ski program when I left school, but none offered a work internship. EA was my best chance of not only having lots of fun, but also getting a job and earning some money.”
Snowminds
Level 1 Course
Three weeks of instruction, both in the classroom and on the slopes, will prepare participants to pass the Level 1 CSIA or CASI instructor certification exam. Experienced coaches work with each individual to develop their skiing and snowboarding abilities, understanding of terrain, mountain safety, and the art of instruction.
The Job Guarantee
Weeks of training will prepare participants to be great instructors for Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Snowminds program participants have a 100% passing rate for the certification exams, thanks to comprehensive preparation.
Johan - Snowminds Instructor“Revelstoke is situated in the middle of a national park and surrounded by natural beauty. There are awesome ski opportunities available for all levels, so there's something for everyone to shred.”
