Professionally speaking, I work as a filmmaker in the bike and ski industries, and I’ve dabbled some as an athlete in both sports as well. Really, the career evolved out of just trying to figure out how to spend more time on my bike and in the mountains, and to that end, it’s worked really well! You could accuse me of being singularly focused on the sports, but I think of shooting, riding, digging, and being stoked to get out in all kinds of weather as being different elements of contributing to the “play outside” community. Being part of the bike community (be it via solo rides, laughing with a big group, or digging in the rain) is the grounding thing in my life that, honestly, everything else is built around in the summer and fall.
I’m relatively new to Revelstoke (moved here in June 2024), but I’ve been a long-time visitor, and I’m feeling confident that I’ll be here for a good long while.
I love garlic, I bake bread, I try to do as much as I can from scratch… but I comfortably span from “consciously healthy” to “human trash compactor” on any given day.
I’m constantly blown away by pretty flowers, sunrises, cool trees, the sounds of creeks and wind, and weather… I feel like I have impostor syndrome for being an adult. Like I’m getting pretty good at pretending, but really, I’m still about 14 years old, and playing outside in the natural world brings me a lot of joy.
What is your favorite trail to ride at Revelstoke Mountain Resort? 5620 - Alan’s through the aspens! It might be the best flow trail on earth. I love how “wrong” you can ride it; the options for creative line choice are endless.
What is your favorite trick? Pedal around a parking lot sitting on the bars and facing backwards. Or a nice, flat table out of a shark fin.
What type of riding do you prefer? Flow, Tech, Freeride, Pro-line, Enduro
What is a random fun fact about you?! I loooove getting caught out in the rain.
